Word on the street is that General Motors has plans to end production of the Cadillac XLR. The Cadillac supercar which is made at the company’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant will end production this spring, a move that will impact 40 employees which are responsible for the production of the XLR.

Word on the street is that General Motors has plans to end production of the Cadillac XLR. The Cadillac supercar which is made at the company’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant will end production this spring, a move that will impact 40 employees which are responsible for the production of the XLR.
Plant manager Paul Graham said that the plant was recently notified of production cut and said the GM has not yet decided when the workers will be laid off.
“No one’s really happy about,” Graham told Bowling Green Daily News. “Everyone in the plant wants to do what we can to build great vehicles. No one’s feeling good about it.”
GM sold 1,250 units of the Cadillac XLR in 2008, down 28 percent from 2007.
